Transportes Aranzadi improves its environmental performance for the third consecutive year
At Transportes Aranzadi, we remain steadfast in our commitment to sustainability. Once again this year, we have managed to reduce our CO₂ emissions per ton transported, consolidating a positive trend in our environmental performance.
In 2022, average emissions were 0.0459 kg of CO₂ per ton transported. In 2023, we managed to reduce that figure by 2.84%, and in 2024, we further improved our results with a further 2.64% decrease compared to the previous year.
This evolution reflects the positive impact of the actions we have been implementing in recent years: fleet renewal with more efficient vehicles, training in sustainable driving, and optimization of logistics routes, among other measures.
At Transportes Aranzadi, we believe that freight transport can and should move toward a more environmentally friendly model. These results motivate us to continue along this path, always seeking new ways to improve and add value to our customers and society.

100% of our own fleet complies with the EURO 6 standard
At Transportes Aranzadi, we continue to make steady progress toward more sustainable transportation. We are proud to announce that 100% of our own fleet now complies with the EURO 6 standard , the most stringent European emissions standard for commercial vehicles.
In addition, 85% of our regular subcontracted fleet also complies with this regulation , reinforcing our commitment to a cleaner and more efficient transportation service at all levels of our operation.
The EURO 6 standard represents a significant improvement in the reduction of nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulates, contributing to better air quality and a smaller environmental footprint.
This achievement is the result of a clear and consistent strategy based on vehicle renewal, a commitment to the most efficient technology, and working closely with our partners to align their standards with ours.
